Every good story needs a beginning, middle, and end. Use this documentation playbook to storytell your adventure! No rules, just a little map to help you, help us.
But first - why do we ask you to document?
Your story is your voice to the universe. As part of our grant, we require documentation to encourage applicants to embrace the habit of sharing their journeys. These shared storiesâwhether told through words, images, or video, become a source of inspiration for others who are waiting to say yes to their own path. Whether your journey is bold or quiet, itâs in revisiting those moments of clarity and purpose that we find meaning. To inspire. To grow. To say yes.
1. Intention and Purpose
The Archive is self-driven, indulging in the âyes theoryââ so why did I say yes?
- You should discuss the whyâ âWhy did I need this trip?â, âWhat pushed me to do this?â, âWhat was I missing that led me to going on this adventure?â
- Highlight and record what you needed to prepareâ both (especially) mentally and physicallyâ before setting out onto the adventure and why it was necessary*.*
2. Highlight any flaws in execution
New adventures means new unfamiliar territory. There may be times of discomfort, stress and doubts.
- How has this affected your adventure? What did you have to overcome in order to execute your adventure and make it worthwhile?
- You must document moments of self reliance and how they overcame the stress and doubt. There is no worthwhile trip without fear!
3. The climax fulfilling your purpose
All the points of discomfort, fear, resilience, to get to this point of clarity!
- What do I feel now that Iâm here in the moment? What do I feel emotionally, physically, mentally?
- Record and document the phase of climaxâ the moment of bliss youâve searched for has come, embrace it to its maximum and showcase every aspect of it!
4. **Final thoughts- How did I change the narrative?
Now that itâs over, where do we go from here? Whats next? Every meaningful trip forms new lenses of feelingâ whether big or smallâ and this is where you can tie everything back up together!
- Possible questions to answer: âWhat made this adventure worthwhile?â, âReflect to how you felt in the beginning and how it changed at the end of it all.â â This is all your choice, you can choose to share the narrative in any way you would like!
- And lastly: How did the archive contribute to your story?
